I think these are quite an underrated product. Not many of the blogs i like to read frequently have commented on these lip crayons. The lip crayon phrase is kind of on its way out, they were good while they were new but now every drugstore brand has a version of it. These are L'oreal's attempt at the Chubby Stick and i actually really like them.
Sorry about the awful looking packaging, they are a few months old but this does point out a problem of the product, the print comes off of the packaging so they look horrible and you can't tell what the product actually is. By having these for a few months i have had quite a long time to test them to give them my full review.
I have them in two colours, the light pink one is 915, Die for Guava and the red one is 909, Mad for Pomegrante. The pink one is quite a bright barbie pink whereas the red one is a warm red with pink and gold flecks of glitter in it, which admittedly doesn't sound great but it is a lovely colour. They both start out quite sheer but they can be built up to have more colour. They are a good choice if you are looking for something to add colour but aren't brave enough for something very bold. They feel quite oily on the lips and the colour doesn't sink in to the creases on your lips. in comparison to something like the Revlon Just Kissable Balm stains, they aren't as long lasting but they are just a gloss rather than a stain and they are definitely glossy. They give a lovely wash of colour to the lips and they are very easy to wear. I think they can be easily over looked for a more talked about product such as the aforementioned Revlon products but i think L'oreal has a better colour choice and they don't have that weird minty scent. the only problems are how the writing comes off of the packaging and that you do need to top them up quite regularly as they do not last very long. At £6.99 they are a little bit cheaper than the Revlon version and the Bourjois version so they are definitely something to consist price wise.
