Jennifer Lopez was named the World's Most Beautiful Woman by People Magazine and Tom laughed long and hard at the news because he knew it would piss off Lorenzo, who thinks J Lo is VASTLY overrated.

On topping PEOPLE's Most Beautiful list of 2011: "Rarely am I left speechless, but I feel honored."

On her effort to stay in top form: "The thing is, it's part of my job. I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!"

On being called a diva: "I kind of like it. We've kind of owned it now. But I certainly don't like and I've never been a person who has what they call 'diva behavior,' which is something they tried to pin on me for a long time."

Oh, no, Jenny. Of COURSE you don't indulge in "what they call 'diva behavior'." We very much like the "How you say...?" quality of that statement, as if she not only doesn't indulge in it, but the very concept is so alien to her that she has to cast about looking for a phrase to describe it. We're sure the Production Assistant on American Idol whose job it is to color coordinate the M&Ms in her dressing room to her eyeshadow laughed bitterly at that and then briefly stuck one up her nose before putting it in the Baccarat candy bowl.

She is a very beautiful woman, even Lorenzo can admit that. And whether through Jesus or surgery, she's as beautiful now as she ever was, if not more so. But does anyone else think the above picture isn't particularly flattering?

As for the rest of the list, it's the same collection of publicist-approved stars either newly minted or on an upward swing. In the entertainment industry, "beauty" is tied very closely to success and no one makes the "World's Most Beautiful" list unless they just had a banner career year or all signs indicate that they're about to have one. No one who just had their show canceled ever makes the list, their previous beauty nullified the instant their ratings slipped. Such is Hollywood, bitches. Let's celebrate the current Most Beautiful people in the world while they're still beautiful, because fame is a fickle bitch and next year, some of these folks won't be beautiful at all.
