FLORIDA LIVING TURNED OUT TO BE PRETTY SWELL

As I posted some time last year,
Miss M's Mother-In-Law took a leap of faith
and bought a new home in Florida.
The change was not without worry, pain, stress and anxiety,
but she made it through the rain, so to speak.
So, the Atlanta family decided to head down to her new home
during Spring Break and see what her new lifestyle was all about!

Miss Irma lives in a quaint southern Florida community close to
Palm Beach....a real hidden gem!
This is actually a mobile home park which will amaze you
at how lovely the residents have made their retirement homes.
Having lived in St. Petersburg/Tampa for seven years of our marriage,
I can testify as to how beautiful these communities can be...
and just full of life and activities for these seniors!
They are enjoying a zest and vitality of life!

Miss Irma can walk out her front door and take a few steps down by the river...
they sit and watch the sunset every evening....who would not love this?

THIS, my darling's is a perfect way to end the day......

There are many, many get-togethers with socializing, foods, dancing, music
and new friendships established.
How amazing that people in their 80's and older have a new lease on life.
Our Luke the Duke loves making new friends wherever he goes...
how adorable!

Even though he misses and loved the Ohio home of his grandparents,
he does think Ohio Grandma's new home is pretty cool!

They did a two hour excursion cruising the water ways
of the lake.
Thankfully, no alligators were spotted, which worried me constantly!!!

I think they are both thinking they could get used to this
lifestyle pretty easily!

Miss M packed alot of fun activities into this trip
with a visit to the ocean aquatic center on Monday.
They learned all about the rehabilitation of the Sea Turtles
who are being cared for after being injured and even
got to feed Sting Rays.....

Just look at Miss Irma, 83 years young, rolling around
in the ocean with her grandson, Noah!
I'll bet she is so glad she left cold and snowy Ohio far behind!
She is a huge inspiration to me, never letting fear keep her from
living life.......

The break ends in a day or so, and I know Miss Piper Rose
will be glad to be reunited with her family!
