Ole Henriksen Nurture Me for Sensitive Skin (Night Cream)

Should have done this a long time ago, but better late than never! =)

Ole Henriksen Nurture Me for Sensitive Skin (Night Cream)

Available: Sephora.

Volume: Mine is a trial size of 28 g.

Star Properties: Ultra nourishing.

Packaging
As far as the trial kit goes, the packaging is solid. I have actually washed and kept the jar from the Ole Henriksen day cream from the same trial kit.

Absorption
This goes into my skin so quickly!

Fragrance
It has got an amazing and familiar fruity smell. I think it is the natural smell from the ingredients, but I cannot confirm because I do not have the ingredients list as mine is a trial size. I can't pinpoint what scent it is after so long, but it is really familiar, and enjoyable.

Effectiveness
I swear that this helps hydrate my skin well overnight, in an air-conditioned environment. I tested this by going cream-less on some nights, and I find that whenever I don't apply this before sleeping, my skin feels terrible the next morning. But when I do apply this, my skin is soft and supple the following morning! Love this.

Some alternatives to this night cream are,
i) Laneige Water Sleeping Pack Ex (much cheaper),
ii) Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum (much more potent than this and also much more costly, but do note that this is a night cream, while EL ANR is a repair serum),
iii) Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Serum (more potent and slightly more expensive).

Price Point
Ole Henriksen products are expensive. And I do recommend getting the trial kits first before you take the plunge, and invest in the full size. But I must admit that the quality of the Ole Henriksen products I've used so far, are absolutely amazing. They just don't disappoint, and always perform.

Luxurious
Plus, they all have gorgeous scents, that adds to the feel-good factor when you use the products.

Will I Recommend?
Definitely yes! But I will caution you that you have to be prepared to shell out a bit more to maintain using Ole Henriksen. If you're already on Dior, Estee Lauder, etc, type of skincare, this should not be a problem though.

I think the trial kits and full size will make nice presents for someone whom you're close to.

Rating: 5/5
Although I can't find anything wrong with this, in terms of quality and effectiveness, I do find that the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack pretty much does the same job to my skin as this does. I love using the Laneige WSP for night cream, even though it says it is a mask, and the sales assistant recommends using twice a week. haha, yup, I cheat, and I use the WSP every night (when I had it). I am testing too many products now to repurchase Laneige, but I must say I truly, dearly miss it.
