September 2017 Empties

1. Sheet Masks Galore
-The Face Shop Real Nature Lotus-  This mask was just ok. It smelled really nice and left my skin feeling hydrated, smooth, as well as refreshed.
-The Face Shop Real Nature Honey I'm just going to put it out there that the remake of the Face Shop's masks is just ok, the actual mask sheet feels silky but I'm not moved by them. This one didn't smell like honey either. :/
-The Face Shop Real Nature Avocado x3 These are nicely hydrating.
The Face Shop Real Nature Olive x2These are nicely hydrating as well, I find a touch more than the avocado but there's not a giant difference.
-The Face Shop Real Nature Aloe - This is a nicely hydrating, refreshing mask
-The Face Shop Real Nature Cucumber - This is a nice refreshing mask
-The Face Shop Real Nature Whie Tea - This is the only mask from the series that I would repurchase; the scent is AMAZING, it smells very tea-like and relaxing (for anyone who likes tea) and left my skin feeling soft, smooth, and refreshed.
-The Face Shop Real Nature Blueberry -  The package says the mask is supposed to be firming and honestly I didn't really notice a big change, it left my skin feeling soft and smooth.
-The Face Shop Real Nature LilyThis had a notably strong floral scent that's kind of clean and powdery but not particularly lily-like. This mask was nicely hydrating and brightening.
-Forencos 7 Days Mask Mon Swallow's Nest Nutrition Silk Mask-  A very smoothing, hydrating mask.
-Forencos 7 Days Mask Sun Black Pearl Brightening Silk Mask-  A smoothing, hydrating, and brightening mask.
-Freeset Donkey Milk Skin Gel Mask Pack Aqua (not photographed)-  A really lovely, intensely hydrating and smoothing mask. I liked this one a lot.

2. Sephora Collection Instant Nail Polish Remover Wipes x2: I like to use these on my feet and the dippy kind for the hands, mostly because the actual liquid seems to no longer be available. Anywho, no t no shade, this stuff works really great and is quite generously sized, the only downside is that it dries somewhat quick but if you work fast you can actually get both feet/hands done with one wipe which I think is pretty economical. I think this is good stuff and definitely worth getting your hands on.

3. Pampers Baby Wipes: We get this in bulk at BJs and I really like them for wiping down surfaces or removing makeup swatches from my hands.

4. the Creme Shop Eyelashes in 46: These are a really pretty eye-opening yet natural looking set of lashes.

5. Belle Ame White Tea Soap: This soap smelled fantastic, it has a lovely refreshing sweet white tea note. That said, toward the end the soap got MEGA slimy and goopy. Not sure if it was the glycerin in this that started to create "strands" but it reminded me of snot which was... unpleasant. In the end, because of the goop texture, this ended up flying down into the sinkhole, never to be seen again.

6. the SAEM Urban Eco Harakeke Toner x2: I really enjoyed this toner, I found it to be refreshing with a lovely herbal tea-like scent. I wish the product was easier to dispense from the sample bottles though.

7. Hikari Cosmetics Lipstick in Cabernet: This is a really pretty dark nude lipstick. That said, it was unscented before and has now attained some weird cheap cologne meets crayon scent... I think it's best to toss it.

8Shiro Cosmetics Destiny's Princess : This is a really pretty soft pink with a golden glow. I had a sample of it which I used up. It's a really pretty color and gave a really nice glow to my cheeks - I used it mainly as a blush.

9. the Creme Shop Eyelashes in 1: I'm not a fan of this particular lash style, it's one of those that's short at the sides and longer in the center which looks awkward if you need to cut it to fit your eye shape. That said, the ends of this were always a battle and it was difficult to get them to stick on my eyes.

10. Boscia Super-Charge Overnight Moisture: This is a really lovely, fluffy, almost whipped textured nighttime moisturizer. I really enjoyed the texture of it and found it to be very nicely hydrating.

11. Givenchy Noir Couture Volume: This mascara was just alright. I found that the brush got really deformed and I had to go in and wipe it down to get it to reform, it didn't apply mascara evenly through my lashes. I found this gave me a bite of volume but didn't quite fan out my lashes as much as I would've wanted.

12. the Creme Shop Eyelashes in 415: These are a beautiful, wispy, fluttery pair of lashes. I liked them a lot; they look somewhat natural yet also long and dramatic.

13. Freeman Feeling Beautiful Rejuvenating Cucumber + Pink Salt Clay Mask: I really enojed this mask; it left my face feeling clarified and yet super soft and smooth. I really enjoyed its exfoliating element as well - it has physical scrubby bits in it.

14. Tree Hut Soothing Himalayan Salt Scrub in Cherry Blossom: This is a really lovely salt scrub and left me feeling soft and smooth; it has a very soft cherry blossom scent. That said, I personally prefer their sugar scrubs as the sugar crystals are grittier and exfoliate better, sugar also doesn't sting if it gets into a cut and can actually help heal said cut.

15. Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Cleansing Gel: I felt like I ran through this failr quickly. It foamed up a whole lot and was really hard to get out of my Clarisonic. That said, I don't love the rose fragrance used in here - it smells very floral and almost earthy and found the cleanser to generally be alright but in no way life-altering.

16.  Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Creme: A really lovely refreshing yet hydrating eye creme. I really love the texture of this as it's a really whipped feeling cream and for whatever reason my skin reacts best to that particular texture - everything melts right in. I really enjoyed using this although it didn't give me any "lift" or smoothing effects.

17. Freeman Feeling Beautiful Sweet Tea + Lemon Peel-Off Clay Mask: This mask wasn't my favorite... it dried to a weird rubbery texture that wasn't all too easy to peel off in one go; that said, it was soft and not painful to remove the bitty pieces. It smells very artificially sweet and almost rubbery, it's more sweet tea than lemon tea in my opinion and I know I might get flack for this but I don't appreciate sweet tea, it's got enough sugar in it to negate any tea... In any case, this left my skin feeling soft but I feel there's a lot of effort involved with it and won't be picking it up again.

18. Beautyblender Blendercleanser Solid: My favorite makeup brush soap - this removes EVERYTHING from your brushes, stains included (for the most part), and leaves them feeling soft and brand new. I highly recommend this and in my opinion it's the very best brush soap on the market. That said, I do stretch it out with castile soaps as those tend to remove power products alright - this is really great for stubborn makeup like lip stains, foundations, and gel liner.

19. the Creme Shop Lashes in 217:  I LOVED these lashes, they're dramatic whispies and I really enjoy that type of lash - it looks natural-ish but gives a lot of oomph.

20. Bumble and bumble Bb Curl Pre-Style Primer: This is a nice "boost" for hair that makes it easier to manage in styling and adds a boost of moisture. I like this one but in my personal opinion the Hairdresser's Invisible Oil one is better in that it adds more moisture to the hair which is something that curls need. These are also great to spray lightly onto the ends of your hair, even if they're dry (as in, not wet), to replenish moisture.

21. Mizon Hyaluronic Ultra Suboon Cream: This is a really lovely hydrating cream; it feels almost like a gel or water-cream when applied to the skin and leaves the skin feeling very soft and smooth.

22.  Dove Summer Care Nourishing Body Care: I feel like I've mentioned this before but I like this body wash okay, it's not great but isn't bad either. The micro-beads here are actually silica and not plastic, either way they don't disintegrate or burst in any way and kind of gather on my shower floor... :/

23. Ocean Saline Nasal Spray: I like to use this on the daily to keep my nose feeling moisturized and to make it easier to breathe.

24. Drybar The Sheriff Firm Hold Hairspray: I am not a fan of this... as hairspray it works alright and has a nice hold. That said, the bottle is what's the issue here... the nozzle constantly gets clogged by the hairspray and has stopped dispensing product altogether even though I can hear a bit still sloshing around in there. Sad times.

25. Bath & Body Works Turquoise Waters Scented Candle: One of my favorite scents, this is very clean, soothing, and spa-like. I'm sad to have burned through it all.

26. Tree Hut Firming Sugar Scrub in Italian Mocha: I've sung my praises to this scrub time and time again but I just absolutely adore it - it smells wonderful, it wakes me up because it smells like yummy chocolaty coffee and is super gritty and scrubby so it gets my circulation going.

Disclaimer: I purchased all of the above with the exception of the Alterna, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Kevyn Auocin, Julie G, Sephora Collection, NUDE, tenoverten, Drybar and REN products. The biore and Urban Decay came as samples; the no-name lashes were a free gift from my makeup school.
